We are a small, independently run local pub in the heart of Bassaleg Village in Newport, South Wales. We pride ourselves on creating a homely atmosphere, offering friendly service and going above and beyond for all our customers. The Ruperra offers a large beer garden and two main bar areas, complete with rustique oak finishings and a cosy fireplace. There is an onsite car park as well as disabled access to the venue. Dogs are welcome throughout the pub and dog treats and fresh water are provided at the bar. Our menu, designed and produced by our wonderful kitchen team, offers Tapas dishes, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. All our produce is sourced locally, with our cheese from the Welsh Cheese Company and our meats from Trealy Farm. We also serve a selection of fine cask ales, wines, and a premium selection of gins.
