Camping at Cardewlees is a small family-run situated on a working farm. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and a bit of craic. Being situated on a working farm there is always plenty to see. The track to the campsite is flankered with sheep, cows and horses. The site overlooks Skiddaw, High Pike, and Carrock Fell Top, along with rolling farmland. I know we are biased, but seriously, the view is something else. We are an ideal base for exploring the Lake District, southern Scotland and west Cumbria. We offer electric and non-electric pitches, serviced stone bays, camping pods, an enclosed pitch with a hot tub and a fully furnished bell tent with a hot tub. Dogs are welcome on all our pitches! During peak season food and drink are available on site as well as a stocked honesty shop. We welcome lots of cyclists and walkers and no matter how full we are there is always room at the inn. With a kettle, toaster and microwave free to use we try to make your stay easier.
