Modern village pub with an excellent restaurant serving fresh homemade food 5 days a week between 9-9 wed-saturday, 9-6.30pm on Sundays. These delicious dishes are created by our team of talented young chefs led by Steve Bass. We serve a selection of real ales, lagers and ciders. Delicious wines, cocktails, champagne, copious spirits and non alcoholic beverages. Set in the picturesque, historic village of Blackmore. We are in the heart of the Essex countryside between Brentwood, Ongar and Chelmsford. Very popular area with walkers, dog lovers and cyclists.
