Clapton Manor
About
Our House Clapton Manor was built in the 1500s and is a traditional Cotswold stone house surrounded on three sides by its gardens next to the 12th century Church of St James. The interior, with its three-foot thick stone walls, old oak beams, mullioned windows, large inglenook fireplaces and antique furniture is both informal and comfortable. Clapton Manor is a family home where we have brought up our four chiuldren. Guests sleep in one of two en suite rooms, one with a five-foot (queen) bed with bath and shower, the other with a six-foot bed (super king and this can be double or twin) with bath and hand shower. Both rooms have tea and coffee trays, hairdryers, electric blankets and clock radios. There is a private sitting room with a television, and log fires in the winter, for the use of our guests. The Barn at Clapton Manor This is a newly created self-catering barn that sleeps two people. Lovely and private and yet close to us in case you need anything!
