The Walled Gardens At Croome Court
About
The Walled Gardens at Croome Court: A Labour of Love by Chris & Karen Cronin In 2000, Chris and Karen Cronin began restoring one of Europe’s largest Georgian walled gardens at Croome Court. Dating back to the 16th century, the gardens had fallen into ruin, but the Cronins saw potential amid the decay. Over 25 years, they meticulously revived the gardens, preserving original features while uncovering hidden history. Now beautifully restored, the gardens are open to the public from April to September on weekends and Bank Holidays (11 am - 5 pm). Admission is £7 per adult, with under-14s free (usual National Trust admission applies), supporting ongoing restoration. Access via National Trust Visitor Centre, WR8 9DW. Follow brown signs to Croome.
