John and Gillian warmly welcome you to Stowfield Barn, our home in the village of Newland within the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. An area of outstanding natural beauty bordering England and South Wales across the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. The Forest of Dean is a magical place in all seasons. For the more adventurous we have mountain biking, zip wires, and kayaking. Cycle tracks for families of all ages and abilities abound in the beautiful forest. Try walking the many routes (Wye Valley walk and Offa's Dyke path to name two), visit local castles, museums cathedrals and sample local produce at the many local hostelries. Several golf courses are close by. Chepstow race course host several meetings each year. Within this great setting lies Stowfield Barn which has been beautifully converted to provide a variety of Bed and Breakfast and separate self catering accommodation. The 100 year old barn is located off a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the village of Newland which boasts a 13th century church known as the 'Cathedral in the Forest' and the award winning Ostrich Inn.
