Lathkilldale Campsite
About
Lathkilldale Campsite is a cosy, family-friendly spot tucked in the rolling White Peak of the Peak District, just a short walk from the charming village of Monyash. The site offers a range of pitches—enclosed family meadows with sweeping dales views and sheltered campsites with electric hook-ups—so there is something for every type of traveller. Facilities are simple yet convenient: free hot showers, hot water for washing, Wi‑Fi hotspots, plentiful flush toilets, a chemical disposal point, and fire baskets for your BBQs. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost provided they remain on leads, and the site’s quiet‑time policy ($10pm–8am) ensures a peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding area is a walker’s paradise, with the Lathkill Dale limestone gorge and the Tissington Trail branching off to the north. Check‑in is from 2 pm to 6 pm and the office is open Monday‑Friday 10 am–5 pm. Bookings are required to secure a pitch and can be made by texting 07971 038702 or via the site’s online booking page. A special rate of £10 per night is offered to Students and Leaders on the DofE programme. All other pitches are priced from £10, with an additional £5 per vehicle on larger motorhomes.
