The Cockpit Cafe
About
The Cockpit Cafe is nestled in the building of the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and is situated in an original building from the RAF site. Decorated in keeping with the setting, it embraces the heritage of the site. There is even an original wooden propeller hanging in the outside, covered terrace. Inside the cafe there is seating for 20. You will be welcomed by the aromas of freshly ground coffee beans. The Cockpit Cafe supports local businesses as much as possible, and the coffee is an award winning blend from Edgcumbes Coffee & Tea Merchants, who roast the beans in Arundel. There is a range of truly stunning coffee on offer. The covered terrace seats 12 and is next to the Museum's stunning, peaceful memorial garden. You can also sit on the grass lawn, wooden picnic benches are the perfect place to enjoy your lunch. One of the benches has been adapted for wheelchair users. See our Facebook page for the Menu. You are welcome to visit the cafe as a non museum visitor.
