The Stonemasons Inn Restaurant
About
The Stonemasons is an idyllic 17th century Inn nestling on the border of the beautiful South Downs National Park opposite the stunning grounds of Petworth House. It's the perfect stopping place to eat, drink and sleep. The authentic interior still retains the architectural features of its historic past with three large inglenook fireplaces, a secluded sun-filled cottage garden and popular en-suite king-size letting accommodation. Showcasing the best of fresh, British organic produce, the kitchen is led by Head Chef James Bicknell (ex Sous Chef of Marco Pierre White) who brings a wealth of expertise. The cuisine is a mix of British and French with a range of pub classics at lunchtime and an exquisite fine dining experience in the evening, all very reasonably priced. Whether it's a cup of freshly ground coffee with the newspapers, a drink at the bar or dinner with the possibility of an overnight stay, you are always welcome at The Stonemasons. Childrens menu available. Dogs on leads welcome
