Westonbirt Arboretum, located in Gloucestershire, England, is a world‑renowned botanical collection spanning 600 acres and home to 2,500 different species of trees and shrubs from every continent. Visitors can explore the meticulously designed Old Arboretum, wander through the natural Silk Wood woodland, and walk to the striking Tree Top Walkway, which offers panoramic views of the gardens and the 17 mi of paths that crisscross the site. The arboretum is open daily from 9 AM to 4 PM (with Christmas evenings closing earlier). Tickets can be pre‑booked online but entry is free for Friends of Westonbirt members. The site is fully accessible with wheelchair hire, accessible toilets, and a welcoming shuttle bus.
