Walk some of the outline of the site of the circus; look at the reconstructed stumps of the starting-gates and central gateway, and the walkway over the exposed foundations. Enjoy the circus displays in the Visitor Centre, which include a replica Roman racing-chariot and charioteer, audio-visual displays, an amazing model of Roman Colchester in the year 200 CE and, of course, a scale model of the spectacular Roman Circus, the chariot-racing arena.
