Our centre offers outdoor and indoor activities for all ages, from axe throwing and archery to survival skills and airguns. At White Dragon Activity Centre, we believe in safety, fun and inclusivity above all else. Our coaches are trained to make every adventure memorable and leave everyone who visits feeling great. Based in the peaceful countryside of Bures, between Colchester and Sudbury, we’re easy to get to by road or rail. We’re utterly passionate about our work, the outdoors and helping more people to discover hobbies that are a little off the beaten track. Archery, axe throwing, airguns, survival skills, medieval combat bootcamps and more! Experiences, courses and parties are available. White Dragon is named after the chalk dragon that adorns a nearby field. The story goes that in the Middle Ages, the people of Bures fought off a ‘dragon’ with bows and arrows. It is said to have fled into the river towards Wormingford – and may have been an alligator from a lord’s zoo!
