Hansoms at the Bulkeley
About
Hansom’s elegant 19thC Dining Room, steeped in history, offers a leisurely and sophisticated dining experience. The classically-inspired à la carte menu is guided by the seasons offering the best in local produce where available. Alongside fish, shellfish, game, meat and local cheeses, the menu is accompanied by an extensive wine list including a selection of British wines. Classic British dishes served in generous portions are coupled with traditional welcoming service as tranquil music drifts from the pianist playing on the grand piano, enhanced with panoramic views of the Menai Straits & Snowdonia creating the perfect ambience. This traditional restaurant, built in 1832 to accommodate Queen Victoria as a young Princess on a royal visit to Beaumaris, exudes timeless elegance and retains the Georgian grandeur and old world charm of the Golden Age of Hospitality. Hansom’s offers comfort and a relaxing ambience and remains one of Anglesey’s hidden gems. Booking is recommended.
