Within a 25 mile radius there is so much to do and see including historic houses, castles, museums, cromlechs, the Ffestiniog Railway and the slate caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog as well as the beautiful forests, river scenery and numerous tourist attractions of Betws y Coed. The nearest town to Maes-y-Bryn is Llanrwst.
