The Hyde Granary

The Hyde Granary is a converted Victorian Granary with one double room en-suite situated in the old grain-store, and another double bedroom above the old stable. The house has been lovingly converted and has many beautiful features including thick sandstone interior walls, Cornish slate entrance hall, minstrel’s gallery, and lovely natural light from the glass dome over the staircase. The small private garden is a haven for birds and has wonderful raised views of sunrise and sunset. It is a quiet and peaceful for sitting with a cup of tea at the end of the day. There are two miles of private drive surrounded by woodland and farmland, offering a chance for walking whilst viewing the local wildlife. Deer, foxes, badgers, woodpeckers, and buzzards are all seen regularly.The Hyde Granary is situated close to Brighton, and Gatwick Airport, but not under the flight path! There are many National Trust houses and gardens to visit locally, such as Wakehurst, Nyman’s Gardens and Sheffield Park. The village is within walking distance and has three pub restaurants.
