Mount Cook Adventure Centre is a new not-for-profit organisation which opened in July 2016 on the outskirts of the Peak District. We are dedicated to providing access to the outdoors and outdoor activities for all, especially young people and those who would not otherwise have the opportunity. Our eco friendly Centre can accommodate up to 140 guests in en-suite bedrooms, with wheelchair access We use the spectacular natural environment surrounding our Centre to provide access to a range of exciting outdoor adventure activities and outdoor learning opportunities. We welcome groups big and small, and people of all ages and abilities! Our activities include High Ropes, Archery, Zip Wire, Bush Craft, Low Ropes, Archery Tag, Orienteering and many more. We deliver this mixture of high adrenaline and skill based activities with the aim to improve team work and leadership skills, increase self-confidence, develop resilience, and provide new outdoor opportunities for our guests.
