Dave, Sue, Emma, & Ruben the sausage dog welcome you to the George & Dragon. The George and Dragon is a family run pub with letting accommodation situated in the picturesque small market town of Ashbourne at the southern tip of the Peak District. It was built in 1710 and was originally a coaching inn. We specialize in home cooked food and feature a lot of vegetarian alternatives to our extensive menu. We also offer an excellent Sunday lunch served 12-8pm on Sunday afternoon, again with a vegetarian option. We also serve real ales which have the Cask Marque accreditation for quality as well as a large variety of beers, lagers and spirits. We are famous for our Dancing Duck Beer and even have our own made for us after Ruben called 'Scrappy's nip'
