A watermill built atop the River Wensum in 1871 is now a beautiful country pub, set in the heart of the glorious Norfolk countryside. We have recently refurbished this historic building to create a haven for pub lovers and foodies. The Mill is now run by sister Siobhan Peyton and Caitriona Peyton, locals who have worked their whole lives in food and drink, from the iconic Atlantic Bar and Grill, Mash micro-brewery and Peyton and Byrne Café Bakeries which they still run. Executive Chef Elliot Ketley is passionate about food and delivering the very best products to his customers. From his time as Executive Chef for Soho House Group and The Square, Elliot is now delighted to use the bountiful produce Norfolk has to offer. From breakfasts and morning pastries for residents and the many passers by on their bicycles or horses, to an indulgent restaurant menu, classic bar menu and The Mill’s exciting new Garden Kitchen, there is something for everyone at any time of day.
