About
Cultybraggan Camp was built in 1941 as PoW Camp 21. From 1948 to 2004 it was an MoD training camp: thousands of soldiers and cadets stayed here for training in the surrounding hills. In 2007, the people of Comrie bought the site as a community resource. As the only remaining PoW camp in Scotland, it is an important heritage site. A new PoW exhibition with audio-visuals has been created and visitors can explore the recreation of PoW accommodation. Museum is open April-October Friday-Monday 1030-1630, last entry 1545
