Beech Estate Campsite is an off-grid campsite with fully-equipped bell tents and pitches in the forest where you can site your own tent, campfires are allowed. The site is within the private Beech Estate in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Sussex near the historic town of Battle and within easy distance of London, Hastings and the South Coast. The woodland offers limitless walks, forest rises perfect for mountain biking and areas for kids to make dens and run wild. For campers wanting to feel very secluded, there are "Faraway Tent Pitches" which are set on top of a hill looking over Bracken Valley. These are very private, although there is a short additional walk to the toilets and shower. Bell tents are set in the woods and offer a unique, off-grid holiday experience with beds, cooking equipment and tableware, chairs, picnic table and a firewood allocation.
