Hastings Lifeboat Station offers free entry to the Boathouse. home to our Shannon All Weather lifeboat (ALB). Our volunteer guides will be delighted to answer your questions on both our ALB and also our D-Class Inshore Lifeboat. The visitor gantry has just undergone a major refurbishment with new interactive screens and information. Alongside our newly refurbished shop, it is now open seven days a week from 10.30am to 16.30 and our volunteers will be delighted to welcome you and answer your questions. You can also see the ALB through the main access doors, and windows in the shop. Please note there is no access to the viewing gallery if the boat is on an operational deployment. Please note there is disabled access to the boathouse and shop, but the viewing gallery itself is only accessible by stairs. Parking is nearby on a level surface at Rock-O-Nore and other town car parks and there are public accessible toilets 150 meters away on The Stade
