Dinas Castle Inn (formerly The Dragons Back) is a guest house owned by Ray, Julie & Jeffers since 2022, it's in a beautiful valley in The Black Mountains part of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). We are the highest pub in the Bannau Brycheiniog, with beautiful views in all directions. The pub itself has been extended from a small stone cottage built in the 1600's, some of the stone was stolen from the ruins of The Dinas Castle, & has been uncovered by the current owners during refurbishment works. We have 4 B&B rooms that sleep up to 10 guests & we also have bunkhouse accommodation for up to 22 guests, along with a small camp site with access to a shower & toilets. There is plenty of parking available on our 3.5 acre site, but if walking come early as it fills up very quickly. We serve plentiful and excellent home-cooked food at reasonable prices. You can go on stunning walks/rides straight from the door. If you can do it outside, then you can almost certainly do it from here!
