About

BobCat Alpacas is a family‑friendly farm located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, at the foot of the Pentland Hills. Spanning 12 acres of lush pasture, the farm is home to a carefully selected herd of Huacaya alpacas, known for their gentle nature and striking fleece. Visitors can engage in a 80‑90 minute guided walk, where they can feed and bond with the alpacas while enjoying scenic views of the surrounding hills. Weddings and special events are also offered, with the alpacas playing charming roles such as ring‑bearers or photo props. All walk experiences are booked in advance, are non‑refundable, and are available on most weekdays, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. The farm welcomes families, couples, and solo travelers who are looking for a peaceful rural escape in the heart of Scotland.
