Borthwick Castle is a unique, award winning and genuinely historic exclusive use venue, which means it is not a hotel and is unable to offer individual rooms. Located on the A7 Borders route, 15 miles from Edinburgh the Castle can be hired in its entirety for private celebrations, weddings, banquets or meetings with up to 70 dining and 28 sleeping. With private hire comes our dedicated team who will provide you with the warmest welcome, a highly professional service and a friendly personal touch. There are no set rules or menus, we can bring your plans to life - whether that's breakfast in bed, a personal whisky tasting, a fabulous feast in our great hall, golf at some of Scotland's top courses or a tailor-made tour of Edinburgh's historic landmarks.
