Did you know the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh was founded in 1505? That’s where we got our name from. We opened over 500 years later in 2015 as a venture to support the College, and have since grown into our own little corner of the community. We sell healthy meals and snacks, coffees and teas, cakes and treats and even glasses of wine. Because we’re part of the College, profits from our sales help to fund surgical training and research around the world, benefiting thousands and thousands of patients. So after your visit to Surgeon’s Hall Museums next door, come in and see us, and don’t say no to that extra slice of cake.
