Dalkeith Country Park is a stunning destination just a few miles from Edinburgh's city centre. Home to the award-winning Restoration Yard Store, restaurant and Wellbeing space plus Fort Douglas Adventure play park and Go Ape. There is something for all ages to enjoy a truly special day out. Our seasonal summer campsite is open from 1st June 2024 until 1st September 2024. Visitors can enjoy brunch and lunch in The Kitchen, a play in Fort Douglas or shop Restoration Yard's beautiful collections. Pick up a map and head out on one of our many waymarked walking trails along the river and in ancient woodlands. Please remember to book online before visiting Fort Douglas or The Kitchen.
