Royal Yacht Britannia
About
The Royal Yacht Britannia, a former floating palace of the British monarch, is now a worldwide‑renowned museum ship berthed in the historic Port of Leith, Edinburgh. Built in 1953 by John Brown & Company, the 126 m long vessel served the Royal Family for 43 years, visiting over 600 ports in 135 countries and covering more than a million nautical miles. Today it offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore its five decks, from the grand Bridge to the state‑of‑the‑art Engine Room, and to walk through the lavish State Apartments, Queen’s Bedroom and the iconic Royal Deck Tearoom.
