Stobsmill Inn and Brunton's Restaurant are Gorgebridge's favourite family-owned bar and restaurant. Set in a cosy, 150 year old village pub, the establishment has recently been taken over by new owners Alan & Fiona White. Their little, humble pub and restaurant offers a welcoming family feel for all that visit - local or not. Since the 1940's the nickname ‘Brunton's' has been used by the locals instead of the official ‘Stobsmill Inn'. So, when we created our new restaurant, there was no name more fitting! We've brought back a bit of history and put an official stamp on the name. Using fresh high-quality ingredients and imaginative preparation techniques make the food at Brunton's both visually stunning and delicious. We take great pride in presenting dishes like our Duck Breast with crispy skin on served with rich red wine and forest fruit Jus or our Seabass with Thermador sauce and mixed Mediterranean vegetables to make a creative and flavourful seafood offering.
