The Angel pub is a modern day independent boozer with traditional values. The staff and the locals treat the place like home. It changes throughout the day and something is always happening to keep us entertained. You can sit by the fire in our tatty old chesterfields having a hot chocolate in the winter, sit at the bar and annoy our bar staff by chewing their ears off, join the debate team on the back deck smoking yer rollies, u can check out the longest running open-mic night in the city on Wednesday, local bands on Thursdays and awesome Dj's on the weekend, the bar goes off later on and takes on the appearance of an apres-ski bar in the city centre. We probably have the smallest dance floor in the world, powered by an amazing funktion one sound system and a gurt mirror ball. Dancing is a must or just watching is fun. Bank Holiday Sundays are mega fun, we have some of the best Dj's in the world playing in the bar - It's Rad!
