Antonio's is an authentic Italian Ice Cream Parlour and Cafe in the heart of Exmouth. It's a Family owned and Family run business and the ice cream is made fresh on the premises. The Italian ice cream is used in a range of mouth watering Hot Waffles, Ice Cream Sundaes or you can create your own unique type of ice cream milkshake! There is the finest Italian Coffee, wonderful Hot Chocolate (in Milk, White or Dark) and a range of light snacks. At Antonio’s, we are passionate about our hand-crafted ice-cream. My family’s origins lie in southern Italy where my mother Maria grew up in the small rural town of Capistrello. Like many Italians in the post-second world war period, my mother emigrated from the poverty of southern Italy to a new life in England in 1960. She arrived in Sidmouth with a family of Italians who ran firstly a fish and chip shop and latterly a seafront café where I started working in the summer holidays when I was 10-years-old!
