The Lamb Inn is a 16th century former coaching inn situated in the picturesque Devon village of Sandford close to the market town of Crediton and just ten miles from the Cathedral town of Exeter. The Lamb Inn is the perfect example of a quintessential English country pub. The Lamb Inn bar has an open fire, comfy sofas and a restaurant that serves freshly cooked, locally sourced, award-winning food prepared by talented chefs on the chargrill. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are plentiful and varied. The Lamb Inn has seven rooms on offer all with ensuite and all dog friendly. They vary in size and price, starting with the spacious wedding suite with wood burner for £145 per night, to Room 1 a large luxury room, with wood burner and bath with a view over the village square for £129, and other double rooms of various sizes with the smallest room for just £64 per night. All rooms are comfortable and have flat screen televisions. Outside there is a sheltered cobbled courtyard with tables and sun umbrellas making it a very popular place to enjoy a meal and choose a cool drink form our extensive range of local ales and lagers, also a varied selection of wines and spirits. There is a separate covered sundeck overlooking the courtyard and a further grassed area, ideal for children, at the top of the garden. As well as the Lamb Inn bar there is the smaller Tap Room and a large function hall, The Dowrich Room, perfect for weddings, parties, wakes and cinema evenings. The Lamb Inn has a thriving cinema club and hosts many other local community clubs and groups, as well as holding regular charity quiz evenings.
