The Welcome Stranger is a family owned business and is a most definitely a favorite with the locals! Located just a short journey from the A38, with ample amount of on site car parking. Our menu is made up of all home-cooked dishes, which our chefs enjoy packing with tons of flavor. We offer plentiful portions and delicious, made to order desserts, so there is a certainty that you leave with your belly full and your smile stretching side to side. Serving local ales to a wide selection of spirits and a hand selected wine list! The food is fantastic, the team are friendly, the drinks are flowing but if you need a further reason to visit... We serve food all day, which you can choose to eat in our barn, our pretty courtyard or in our fabulous beer garden which overlooks Haytor. Our garden hosts a large play area for the children to run wild, whilst you are enjoying the views. We are dog friendly, so no need to leave your fur baby at home!
