Sitting in an outstanding area of natural beauty and surrounded by fields, Cedar Cottage is an excellent base to explore the local gardens at Trellisick, Trebah and Glengurgan. There are local walks along the estuary creeks, or for the energetic there are the cycle trails from the village. Land's End and the Lizard are a short drive away, and the local beaches on both the north and south coasts are a tempting option. Perranwell Station sits between Truro and Falmouth and has two local pubs within walking distance which both serve excellent food. Nearby Falmouth hosts some fabulous fish restaurants including a Rick Steins restaurant.
