Loggans Lodge Bed & Breakfast
About
Loggans Lodge is situated just off the main A30 as you are entering Hayle town. It has recently been renovated to offer 3 tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms which are very well equipped to make your stay enjoyable. Our rooms are named after the 3 main areas in Hayle, Loggans, Copperhouse and Foundry. There is a large lounge/breakfast room with 2 stained glass windows, representing the local area, made by local craftsmen. Outside there is a fish pond with a living wall and the onsite parking area. It is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall and the surrounding areas. Hayle is situated on the edge of St Ives Bay which curves round to Godrevy Lighthouse and Hayle sits around the midpoint on the estuary. It is well known for its 3 miles of golden sandy beach bordered by sand dunes. Towards the end of Hayle Terrace if you cross the estuary, over the bridge there is an outdoor bathing pool and pretty walk way, (King George V memorial walk). This is lit by fairy lights in the evening. Down at the Foundry end of Hayle is the large granite railway viaduct, it is said to be the only viaduct in Britain that a main road passes under twice. The beach is only 1 mile away from the property, a lovely walk over the dunes. Each year the Hayle Estuary provides a stop off for migratory birds and is a favourite spot with bird watchers. We are within easy reach to St Ives, Penzance, Marazion (St Michaels Mount), Godrevy, Falmouth, Truro, Newquay etc. Train station is about a 20–25-minute walk 1.6 miles. The bus stop is immediately outside the property. We are close to all amenities, Supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, individual shops, recreation ground and an outdoor Swimming pool. Sorry we do not accept Pets. If you look us up on Google Maps please do not be alarmed by the photos. Google maps has not been updated for over 4 years. Loggans Lodge does not look like that now.
