A circular walk in the area described in Victorian times as the richest square mile anywhere on Earth. The walk follows the trackbed of the railway to the lagoons created by the Wheal Maid tailings dams, follows byways through the Poldice mine workings and returns along the Poldice Valley. 3.4 miles. Steepness: easy-moderate.
