About

The two sound mirrors on the White Cliffs of Dover, dating from 1917 and 1922, were one of the earliest means of detecting incoming attacking aircraft. They were acquired by the National Trust in 2012 and are included in the Fan Bay Deep Shelter guided tour. If you would like to comment on the sound mirrors, please search for Fan Bay Deep Shelter and leave a review there. Thank you.
