About
As part of the Highland Archive Service, the Lochaber Archive Centre at Fort William is responsible for locating, preserving and making accessible documents relating to all aspects of Highland history. The Lochaber Archive Centre collects and preserves archives relating to Lochaber, dating from the 17th century to the present. Limited public parking is available to the rear of Alexander Ross House, this includes disabled parking. Alternatively there is a large car park opposite the Centre (West End Car Park), accessed via the West End roundabout. Lochaber Archive Centre staff are always available to assist you with your research – please feel free to drop-in or contact us to book an appointment.
