About
Based in the beautiful Scottish Borders village of St Boswells, we like to think of The Mainstreet Trading Company as a destination in itself. Back in 2008 we renovated a former auction house, to create a light and airy space filled with books and the smell of coffee. In late 2012, work was completed in the barn behind the main shop to create Mainstreet Deli & Home, launched by Tom Kitchin. These are exciting times in the Borders, with the new railway (opened in 2015) and open top bus tours now passing our doors, it’s easier than ever to visit.
