Duncarron Medieval Village
About
Duncarron Medieval Village is Scotland's largest medieval village. Located in the Carron Valley on the eastern end of the Carron Valley Reservoir, near Stirling. The medieval village has been built by Charlie Allan with the help of dedicated volunteers from all walks of life, and is intended to preserve and disseminate Scottish culture and heritage through education, active participation and entertainment. As of summer 2024 we have built an entirely new and refreshed Duncarron experience. Alongside our usual special events like our Viking Festival, Duncarron Clanlander (an Outlander themed event) and Guy Fawkes Bonfire Nights, we also added self-guided tours, a gift shop and a coffee shop to boot! We are now closed for the winter season (other than our Bonfire Night!) and will be opening again in April 2025. See you next spring!
