Towy Bed & Breakfast
About
Unwind in our Grade II Georgian Town House, former home of Sir William Paxton , tucked away in a quiet corner of Llandeilo overlooking the church and the river Towy. Let us spoil you. Each room is elegantly furnished with beautiful antique pieces, local artist work decorates the walls, including the work of the international artist Andrew Douglas Forbes who shares the house with the host. Our library is well stocked with a variety of books from the classics to thrillers where you can cuddle up in fount of the fire and sink into one of the wing chairs, if you feel like a drink you can help yourself from the crystal decanters, on an honesty bar basis, or help yourself to port and sherry provided complimentary in the rooms. Log fires encapsulate the ambiance of the house, which recently was used in the period film "A Small Country." You'll find our beds very accommodating with cool crisp linen and goose down duvets. Each bedroom is unique, some with oak beams, Georgian canopies or antique brass beds.
