This fabulous small campsite has camping pitches, the Orchard with it vintage caravans arriving in summer 2022, hardstandings for motorhomes and caravans, and for glamping fans, bell tents, our infamous 'The Roundhouse' and more to come! The site has a small shop selling local produce, a selection of foodstuffs and gifts, and fun educational stuff for children to do in the countryside. The cafe is a licenced premises and is open from Easter/ May to September/ October and serves lovely breakfasts and meals all day. We strive to be single use plastic free - our water is drinkable, reuse/recycle!! The owner Annie is friendly and helpful; there are sheep, Rare Breed Belted Galloway cows on the farm, and the only BHS Approved Heavy Horse Riding Centre in the world, Cumbrian Heavy Horses, where you can book to go riding on a Shire, Clydesdale or Suffolk Punch pure heavy horse! This little family site is a gorgeous treasure with amazing views, good facilities, a stream running through it - come see for yourself!
