The Alma Arms has recently reopened with new owners, the pub main building dates back to 1731 and some of the original features still exist in the main bar. We are proud to serve local award winning cask ales and a full home cooked menu. We pride ourselves on fresh plain home cooking, prepared daily by our chefs who are trained in house so you can be sure of consistency. The Alma Arms has been well known for its Steak Pie and we continue this tradition on. Our Steak Pie uses British Beef cooked slowly for 12 hours and is the finest quality, locally sourced from our butcher who has been serving The Alma Arms with prime British Meats for 25 years.
