About

Hubbard’s Hills, a quiet wooded valley through which meanders the river Lud, is considered one of the gems of Louth. This beauty spot, on the western edge of the town, chiselled out of the chalk around 40,000 years ago by glacial melt water, is maintained as natural parkland and is intended to be a safe and pleasant environment for all. The assistance of visitors with this is very much appreciated. Please adhere to local signage regarding usage, be kind and considerate to other users, pick up after your animals and take rubbish home wherever possible.
