The Boar's Head is a historic pub and coaching inn located in the picturesque village of Ripley in North Yorkshire. Dating back to the early 19th century, the building was originally called The Star, serving as a coaching stop with stables. In the 20th century it became a private house, then the modern hostel reverted it to pub form in 1990. Today it boasts a lively bar, a cosy lounge, a classic restaurant and 23 comfortably appointed bedrooms that are part of the charming Ripley Castle Estate. The structure, a Grade‑II listed brick-and‑stone building with a slate roof, offers a blend of traditional architecture and contemporary hospitality features.
