Tillingham is set amongst 70 acres of rolling hills and woodlands with far-reaching views along the Tillingham River valley and across to the fortified, hilltop town of Rye, East Sussex, to the sea and the Romney salt marshes. Our Michelin Green Star Restaurant is open for dinner seven days. Our Garden Menu is a five-course tasting menu showcasing beautiful produce from our walled garden and surrounding farms, meat reared on Tillingham pastures, and fish caught daily down at Rye We have eleven double rooms in what was formerly a hop barn. In addition to our rooms, we have two high-spec Bell Tents within the grounds, with your private terrace and firepit. These are bookable seasonally from May through September. Our philosophy at Tillingham would be best summarised as progressive: incorporating what we know of the best scientific and technological knowledge available to us, whilst championing ancient traditions and best practices learnt from millennia of farming and winemaking.
