Buzzard Chris Bushcraft is a qualified instructor/leader and offers half day Tasters, 1 day Explorer and 1 day overnight courses in bushcraft & woodland skills. Families, groups and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome. Activities involve fire & fire by friction, knife/axe work & carving, spoon carving, emergency shelter, tarp/hammock & quick release knots, willow and nettle cordage, tree/plant ID & uses, nature awareness and insights into many aspects of bushcraft. Chris also delivers programmes and courses for Health & Wellbeing in Nature. There are no super human requirements for any of the activities, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to experience a bit of wilderness living. The camp at Kingsmill woods (near Castlemartin, Pembrokeshire) has a shelter, kitchen and a composting toilet. Kingsmill wood is National Trust woodland which is a hazel, alder & willow coppice. It is only minutes from the coastline with Freshwater West & Broad Haven South.
