About

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is a long established museum, located on a hill overlooking the wonderful town of Tenby and across Cardigan Bay towards St Catherine's and Caldey Island. It welcomes and encourages all ages to engage and enjoy its varied galleries, including the Story of Tenby from its earliest recorded times to the geology and archaeology of the area as well as contemporary art displays and other changing exhibitions. And of course Leaky Porridge, our favourite pirate! For art lovers, and anyone interested in the social history of the area there is a gallery showing works from the Museum's permanent art collection which includes paintings by Augustus and Gwen John, who both lived in the town, as well as E.J. Head, Nina Hammnet, John Piper, Kyffin Williams and Nicky Wire. There are activities and trails for everyone. The entrance fee of £5.50 for adults gives a ticket which lasts for 12 months and all children are welcomed free. Last admissions is 16:30.
