Hello! We have just re opened after 4 years after our break. Welcome. Here at The Charton, we have created a wonderful boutique bed and breakfast set in the heart of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. We are located on a private road off the A3052 next to Charton Farm and Rousdon Estate. The unrivaled peace and quiet, fields of sheep, and daily visits of a variety of bird life, make for an idyllic place to stay. It only takes 3 minutes to drive to Lyme Regis and even less time to get to River Cottage HQ. Our peaceful, yet convenient location is perfect if you’re looking to kick back and relax in and around Lyme, if you’re an avid walker looking to experience the cliff-side walks, or you’re booked in for courses or functions at River Cottage. The Garden Room is luxurious and comfortable, with a well-appointed en suite, and we offer an in room light continental breakfast. Local cereals, a fridge full of goods. For something more guilty we recommend the local Rousdon Bakery.
