Housed in a charming Grade II listed building in the picturesque village of Bishop Burton, The Altisdora is a quintessential country pub which has been sensitively renovated. The wooden beams that gave the original building its character and unique charm are still intact. For sunny days, we have a stylish patio with oversized umbrellas, classic pub benches, and a private pagoda. All are welcome at The Altisdora. Drive out to the country for a pub lunch with your partner. Catch up with friends over drinks and dinner. Get the kids in the car and meet the grandparents for a traditional family Sunday lunch. Beautifully crisp roast potatoes, silky gravy, tender meat, and flavoursome vegetables are prepared from scratch every Sunday. We also do great grills, and roast chicken is served in ways that suit traditional and more adventurous palates. Come in any day of the week; we serve food from lunchtime onwards.
