There are various lakeside options to stay in, from romantic cosy cabins with hot tubs for two, right up to huge safari tents ideal for groups of families & friends wanting to enjoy a very comfortable glamping adventure. Kayaks (with all equipment and safety items) for adventuring can be hired for the duration of your stay, as well as Firepits with unlimited logs for cosy evenings toasting marshmallows, which is a must when 'camping'. If you can pull yourselves (and the kids!) away from your cosy base then within 15-30 minutes' drive are a number of stunning East Yorkshire beaches (Hornsea, Fraisthorpe, Bridlington) and 30 minutes from the jaw-dropping Flamborough Head with its many coves, rockpools and seabird sanctuaries. The local villages have some great options for eating in and takeaway too.
